I've decided that unless a book is a super good deal, or just HAS to be purchased in print format, I am going to save money by focusing more on e-books. I mean I have that super awesome pretty Kobo Vox, I might as well take advantage of it!

In preparation for my 2012 Black Stallion Reading Challenge I ordered the following from Book Depository since they were a pretty good deal (and free shipping!).


And during the annual Chapters 30% hardcover Boxing Week sale I couldn't help but pick up this beauty. This is one of those books that just HAS to be purchased in it's print version.

First of all, who can resist that title? Why We Broke Up. I could tell you some stories!

And just look at this artwork! So stunning!

Also, completely unrelated to books, we picked up Seasons 4-9 of Smallville for our viewing pleasure since Best Buy had them on for $19.99 each! Score! Also picked up some video games to try out, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Darksiders. Let the fun begin!

I also bought some books for my sister...but I can't tell you which ones in case she is reading this...we don't want to ruin the surprise!

    I agree, I need to read more books on my Kindle! I see you're reading Cinder! I just finished it last night and I LOVED it! It was so much better than I thought it would be. Hope you're liking it too. :)

    I also got Farsighted this week, and I bought Hereafter last week. I tend to purchase eBooks to save money, and it is more convenient. I do purchase my favorites in physical format though! I hope you enjoy your new books and DVDS! Thanks for Sharing!

    The guy on the cover of Farsighted kind of looks like Mel Gibson and it's a little creepy. But the amazingness of Why We Broke Up definitely makes up for that!
