This book is one of my most anticipated reads for 2013. After devouring book one in this series, Incarnate, I wanted to finish the rest of the series immediately. This has been an extremely long wait. I am so glad HarperCollins Canada sent me an ARC that I happily sped-read on the beaches of Cuba over the Christmas holidays. It was AMAZING!!!

Earlier this year at BEA I was lucky enough to meet many people from this amazing small publisher, Spencer Hill Press, and they are all so fantastic! I have been eagerly awaiting my chance to work with them ever since speaking to them about their YA offerings and chatting with some of their authors.

I was more than ecstatic when I was offered a spot on their Amarok tour. Since I am obsessed with wolves (as many of my regular readers probably know) I have had my eye on this title since it was first announced. I can't wait to read it and share my thoughts with you all! Last year I was asked to host a tour spot for a new author (J.J. Bonds) and the first book, Crossroads, in a new vampire series, Crossroads Academy. I loved the book, and wished I had of been one of the ones chosen to do a review post, because I would have raved over it! One day I'll get around to actually writing the review, even though I wasn't required to.

I have to admit...I have already read this book. I was lucky enough to not only pick up this book at BEA, but I also was able to get it signed to me by the author and chat with him for a few minutes. He is a super sweet guy and hopefully next week both my sister and I will have reviews up for this fabulous book (she loved it as well) and maybe even get an author interview posted up as well! So yes, go out next week and buy this book. You won't be sorry!

I am very excited about these two books coming out next week. Both are new series in the dystopian genra, and we all know how much I love those!

Some might remember that although I liked the first book, Eve, I did not LOVE it...a lot was left wanting, especially with Eve's character. I have been informed by a few fellow bloggers that this second book is much better than the first, so I am willing to read it...especially since there are still so many unanswered questions!

The third book in the series, Rise, just recently had it's cover revealed, which seems such an unfair tease since the second one isn't even out yet!

And added to all this excitement is the fact that Ms. Anne Rice herself is going to be HERE IN TORONTO on February 13th, and yes of course I have tickets. I cannot wait to see her speak!

I am so very intrigued by both this stunning cover and interesting synopsis. I have always been a fan (and believer) or reincarnation and I just know I am going to love this book. For some reason I think a little of Stephanie Meyer's The Host when I read this, and I loved that one as well!

Finally, a book without a black and red cover! But it seems I also have this thing for these wonderfully creative (and scary) end of the world by virus type books (I'm currently reading Wither). Tell me this synopsis doesn't sound amazing, and yet completely freaky? I'll be picking this one up on release day for sure! (And then I'll probably start freaking out every time I feel that odd little tickle in my throat...)

I know this comes out next week, but I really can't wait, so I figured I would share with you all what I am waiting to read. I have seen so many bloggers post reviews already (and I have avoided reading them like the plague) - I am so jealous! But soon I too will know the joy that is Clockwork Prince.

I don't know about you...but I find that cover stunning! And the whole premise of the book just gives me shivers. I cannot wait to get a copy of this book and devour it!
