[Meme] Teaser Tuesday - Once by Anna Carey

This teaser is from Once by Anna Carey. Although I had many issues with the first book in this series, Eve, I wanted to read the second book to see what happened to some of my favorite characters (not the main character). So far I am pretty happy with what most of what I have read, including the main character's growth.
