[Meme] Teaser Tuesday - April 3 2012

It's been a while since I posted anything, and I am totally blaming tax season for this! It is really slamming me this year. I promise things will pick up in May. And in June I am going to BEA (Book Expo America) so that should provide some exciting posts as well!

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

Brad's gaze drifted to where the cars had landed in the water. His M5 was already submerged, but the back end of the pickup still protruded from the surf, bobbing in the swells like a corpse.
"What about him?" Brad asked.
"Him?" The Angel asked.
"Yeah," Brad said and pointed to the tailgate as it slipped under the waves. "Him."
"He didn't have coverage."

These teasers are from Immortal City by Scott Speer. I received this from the Ontario Blogger Meetup last year as a door prize. It had been generously donated by Razorbill. I haven't had much luck with angel themed books, but I am hoping this changes things. Some fellow blogettes have recommended it, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
