What do I think I will read next?
Most likely either The Giver by Lois Lowry or The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne. Both are also for my YA Summer Challenge so the order isn't really important, however I recently watched the movie for The Boy in the Striped Pajamas so I am leaning more toward that one.

I didn't realize either, but it was in a list we were given for the challenge, and my son actually had to read it in his grade 7 English class.

Shirley, The Book Thief started out pretty slow but it is really well written and a good read. The second half of the book is moving by so fast!
