30 Day Book Meme - Day 5

Elleira over at Chimneys & Magic is running the 30 Day Book Meme

Day 05 – A book that makes you happy:

There are quite a few books that make me happy. I couldn't come close to listing them all, but one that I remember the most from my childhood is The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch.

It was one of the first books I read that had a strong independent female character in it. I loved the fact that she didn't need the prince to save her, because back then I thought boys were stupid (and still think that most days actually). Since then I love nothing more than a good book with a believable strong independent woman as a main character.

Thanks for reading and link below if you are doing the 30 Day Book Meme as well. I would love to see your answers!
