Elleira over at Chimneys & Magic has started the 30 Day Book Meme. This intrigued me so I decided to give it a go. I'm also in the same boat as Elleira with regards to time, so most likely my entries will not be 30 days consecutively, but I will fit them in as I have the time to do so. (Plus it gives me time to actually think about the answers because looking at some of these questions I can see there will be challenges...)
Day 01 – The best book you read last year:
Last year...let me think back...(brings up her Goodreads page and flips through the books listed as read last year...).
I will have to go with The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It seems I didn't give any books a 5 star rating last year but I remember this one was pretty close. I loved the whole series, but the first one was always my favourite.
Other books of note from last year were:
1) Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead (The final book of the Vampire Academy series.)
2) Linger by Maggie Stiefvater (The second book of the Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy.)
3) The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer (A novella in the Twilight series.)
Thanks for reading and link below if you are doing the 30 Day Book Meme as well. I would love to see your answers!

This meme looks like total fun! I might have to participate myself.
ReplyDeleteI read The Hunger Games last year, too, and it was one of the best books I read.
The Hunger Games.
ReplyDeleteWords can't describe how good that book is. :)
Thanks for your comment and participating in the meme with me! :D
xx
But of course! Thanks for running it. I have seen it around a few times but never this close to the beginning. So I just had to jump in!
