[Meme] Waiting On Wednesday: Switched

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Title: Switched
Author: Amanda Hocking
Publisher: Macmillan, St. Martin's Press
Publication Date: January 3, 2012

When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy discovers her mother might have been right. With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed - a world both beautiful and frightening, and Wendy's not sure she wants to be a part of it.

Yet another stunning black and red based would think I have a thing for these! (Of course you'd be right.) And that synopsis? I love it because it is enough to be intriguing and draw you in, but not so much as to give too much away. I love it!

What book are you waiting for right now?

  1. I haven't read any of Amanda Hockings books but they are high on my TBR list! I have seen this one on goodreads and thought it sounded really good! Great pick this week. :)

  2. EEEKKKK!!! Does this have something to do with the Fae!! lol. Cause this definitely sounds like something to do with the Fae switching children for faeries! lol. I am inlove with thiiiissss!! So awesome thanks for leaving your link on my blog!! :D haha.

  3. Jacquelynne I believe you are correct. I just read a more detailed synopsis elsewhere that lists her as a changeling.

  4. I've this already, and it's really good! It's about trolls, if you can believe it. Very interesting stuff.

  5. I read this on quite awhile ago when it was only available on Kindle, before she decided to get it done in paper. I don't really remember what it's about anymore, but the cover is making me want to buy it. I still have the kindle version, but I don't remember if it had a cover picture. Lol
Thanks for sharing and stopping by :)

  6. Trolls? Very interesting and unique! I am even more intrigued now!
