[Meme] In My Mailbox #9

Here is this week's In My Mailbox hosted by The Story Siren.

Received from Publisher for Review:

Last week I was lucky to receive books one and two in The House of Comarre series. This week I received book 3, Bad Blood. This series is going to be awesome!

The wonderful Shannon at HarperCollins read my W.O.W. post about Archon and was kind enough to send me an ARC copy to review. She really made my day!

Crystal over at Raincoast sent me a few books to review as well, and I am really looking forward to these 2 in particular. Life is but a Dream by Brian James and After the Snow by S.D. Crockett.

From NetGalley for Review:

(I just realized it is book #2 so I better track down book #1!)

Received from Publisher (Not Necessarily for Review)

Completely out of the blue, Hachette UK Canada contacted some bloggers and asked if they would like to receive a box of randomized books. How can you say no to that? Below is the books that were included in my surprise shipment.

The first two books were books one and two from the Languedoc trilogy, Labyrinth and Sepulchre by Kate Mosse. I have seen these in stores before and often thought about reading them. I am pretty excited about them!

I was also super excited to find all six books from the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series by Michelle Paver. I have been intrigued by these often in the past but never had the chance to read them.

Some other books of random joy:

(This is book 2 and it looks so interesting I am going to have to track down book 1, Dark Angel.)

And more awesome randomness:

Phew! After all that I didn't dare mention book shopping to the other half...maybe next week...

What did everyone else get this week? Let me know!
