Teaser Tuesday - July 19th 2011

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

Just do the following:

1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
4. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser:

"Mommy said she'd told Emily about the basement. Chole was sure of it."

This is from the next book in my Summer Challenge (only this one and one more to go!) The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. I have always loved Kelley's adult series, Women of the Otherworld, so I figured I would go ahead and dive into her YA trilogy. The teaser is from the very first page and I can safely say it already has me hooked!

Share your teaser with me!

  5. I remember back before Kelley started reading YA not many people knew her. She is a local so I remember reading her first book. I am so glad so many more people can enjoy her writing now!

    Thanks for stopping by!
